How do I add leave types?

As an admin, you can change or add leave types. There two ways of adding leave type. You can add it through Attendance > Leave or through Setting > Data Configuration > Leave Type.

  1. Go to Attendance and choose Leave.
  2. Tap the setting button on the right top of the page.
  3. Tap ‘+ Add Leave Type’ to create new leave type.
  4. Write down the name of leave type (e.g. Special Leave, Annual Leave).
  5. Input the code of leave type (required). A code consists of numbers and letters, usually an abbreviation or formula. For example, “ANL”.
  6. Input the day of eligibility leave.
  7. Swipe right if the total of leave days will deduct the maximum total of leave balance defined before (leave depreciation), so that employee who has right can see clearly how many days of leave (this leave type) that has been used along with the remaining.
  8. Set the start period of leave.
  9. Input the number of years if you want to set the leave to repeat for certain period of year. For example, you input ‘2’, so every year within 2 years, the leave will be provided.
  10. Swipe ‘Carry Over Remaining’ to determine whether the current remaining leave balance will be carried over to be calculated with the leave balance total of next period.
  11. Swipe right to enable the leave is still be able to be taken by employee though it has been already minus.
  12. Select the employee that is eligible for the leave. If all employees can get this leave type, swipe right.
  13. All completed? Save your leave type.
